About the Program

• Rescues and places cats and kittens into private foster homes until adoption.

• Most commonly supports litters of kittens found too young for immediate adoption.

• Kittens remain in foster care until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and adopted.

• Spay/neuter typically occurs around 12 weeks of age, though the time commitment may vary.

Foster Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must provide a safe, indoor-only environment for the cats.

• Must feed the cats and administer medications as directed.

• Must transport cats to and from veterinary appointments arranged by Jette's Foster Critters (including checkups, vaccines, spay/neuter, etc.).
